For sale is son no. 2's Boardman AirPro Carbon frameset in size 54cm Medium with components included.
This is a 2011/2014 Boardman AirPro / Road Pro Carbon which was at some point re-sprayed matt black. Previously owned by a club-mate we bought it as a frame/seatpost in 2018. Since then it’s been used as a winter bike by my son for about 4 years so has seen use – the frameset isn’t pristine but the only major wear is on the downtube from a front clip-on mudguard plus a torn plastic chainguard.
The previous owner had the frameset dated as a 2014 one although the frame number may date it to 2011. Either way it’s one of these - https://covetcycles.co.uk/products/boardman-3 or the later Road Pro version - and would be light blue underneath. It’s an aero frameset with aero seatpost. We’ve tried removing the matt black paint and can’t so there’s a few scratches and marks. The decals may be removeable but we’ve not tried removing the Boardman ones.

Comes with used Shimano Ultegra bottom bracket, Shimano 105 5800 11-speed front and rear derailleurs, Ultegra 6800 rear brake, 105 5800 front brake (note: the brake bolt is seized) plus the seatpost. They’ve all done at least one winter, as the whole bike was re-built and re-greased last Spring, so have marks/rust appropriate with the lovely weather and road conditions we get here in the UK but work fine. The cables are left in to aid cable routing but we've not normally had any issues.
Useful as a Zwift frameset / training bike. It’s probably not the best winter bike due to the aero frameset.
We're asking £100 to CC members/my cycling club and we'd prefer if it could be collected from Dewsbury, WF12 or Nottingham, NG5 rather than posted. I do have a frame box but the frameset would need more dismantling.
And if you need a pair of Shimano 105 11-speed shifters I’ve a pair for £60. Buy the frameset and shifters and I’ll include a stem/bars/saddle leaving you with just a crankset and wheels to add.
