Have too many wheelsets for bikes so going to do a bit of merri-go-round and try to get rid of 2-3 sets between the Mrs' and my bikes.
First up:
Mavic Cosmic Elite in good condition with minimal brake surface wear and lovely smooth hubs, Shimano/Sram. Excellent upgrade from stock wheels or for a bombproof easily self serviced winter or training set. Absolutely in good order, rear perhaps could do with 1/8 of a turn on a cpl spokes - cpl mm out of true - but absolutely nothing that you can't do yourself or that can't wait until next service. Most wouldn't mention it tbh as they'd regard it as negligible/normal but always try to be 100% straight (as it were).
With Continental GP4000SII (25mm) tyres with plenty of life and grip left (albeit starting to look a little squared off) and a few usage marks as normal. The odd nipple slightly discoloured and a few spokes (as they always do on the Cosmics showing a little light surface rust) but all 100% functional and not seized etc - not even noticeable unless under close inspection tbh .
With QR skewers; can add in a 105 10sp (with less than 1000miles use) cassette for an extra £7.50.
