Also couples who meet on the internet (other forums are available) have happier relationships then couples who meet by other means ie; via family and friend introductions, bars and clubs, and at work.Someone on the radio the other day said that the chances of a marriage surviving were inversely proportional to the amount spent on the wedding.
Our plan for the day does include a 'drop in' option. Between ceremony and reception, we intend to go to the NRM to look at trains and have tea. All and sundry are welcome to come too (at their own expense, we can't manage 3000 cups of tea at Museum prices!), and say hello. A sort of guerilla flashmob reception. We just hope the NRM will still be open, and free, by then!
Yes, it was the best way we could think of for inviting all the random people we know (in the interweb sense) who wouldn't normally be invited to a costly reception or the wedding itself.I think that's a brilliant idea. Wish we'd done something like that instead of the ridiculous pomp and ceremony my mother insisted on.
