This is true. Though I do have to admit that I have the daily mail app on my phone....though I only read it for the comments - light entertainment!

The YouTube videos with the bike tied to a tree are funnier. Straight over the handlebars when the rope pulls taught. Cruel but devastatingly effective.

Oh dear!
Well, having had 13 bikes and god knows how many parts stolen over the last 20 odd years I found it quite satisfying, albeit a bit childish.
13 bikes! That's a hell of a lot. I've had two in 40 years. I wonder which of us it the statistical anomaly?
