I don't think there is anythong that would make me wish I was an American.

You get to be fluent in the most amazing language, have legs to die for, eat loads of cheese and not get fat, live in the most beautiful country in the world and look effortlessly chic at all times.

I'd love to say that were (or is that was???) all true.

Speaking in gross generalisations, I think I'd like to be American for the supreme confidence that it seems to bring... yes, you could class it as arrogant ignorance too but a lot of the western world really does aspire to be American.
