Son's new roof has failed,i don't know the details but the back bedroom ceiling is damaged.A better roofer has put a better quality roof on.He is now starting legal proceedings against the first roofer,who is playing silly beggars,£5,500 he is going after.How do these barstewards sleep at night.

I had a couple of well educated Freinds get ripped off. High Victorian terrace and they couldn't see what the roofer was / wasn't doing! So leaked. Had to get another firm into fix it!

If he did, and a less than competent or fraudulent job was done, there's the possibility of a claim via this. I did it myself a number of years ago, and over a roofing matter too!

Sent him your excellent suggestion and he has replied it was a debit card.I have sent him details of chargeback via his bank,once again thank you for your suggestion.
