As long as I breathe, I attack.
Friday night shift i use the car as i drop the kids off at the MIL as mrs ck works saturday mornings so the kids get a sleepover and i get some sleep.
The radio channel starts playing a song i think is drivel, do i change channels or turn it off ? off methinks so here it is my entry into turn it off rather than listen .....

A Minging Manc...
Yep, once it got to the chorus and I realised which song it was I too turned it off PDQ!

Not a song but Vanessa Feltz (sp) will have me reaching straight for the off button.
Similarly Chris Evans and Alan Carr. I reach for the ON button to listen to Johnnie Walker though.

Daughter has a tendancy to listen to Capitol FM, she even tries it on the mornings 'school-run', I've tried for her sake, but it's like listening to a toddlers tea-party

Similarly Chris Evans and Alan Carr.
I reach for the ON button to listen to Johnnie Walker though.
Add Graham Norton, & Paul O'Grady, to the 'OFF' for me, as well as the two mentioned

Mark Radcliffe, Stewart Maconie. Cerys Matthews, Simon Mayo, Bob Harris are all added to the 'ON' list

The closest I ever get to listening to a British music station nowadays is Desert Island Discs and that normally has me rushing for the off switch before the shrieking opera starts! I've only ever managed to listen to one whole programme and that was Chris Packham.

He gives me the shivers

He's bad but I can stomach him if it's a toss up between that or BBC 3 counties, however on Friday's drive home I have to switch it off and have silence instead.

We're serious jockin' ... no "g". Deirdre just called, she's been doin some serious bakin'... no "g". Alan's been plastering in Scunthorpe. Serious plasterin'... no "g". Molly and Bob are out on a picnic in Cleckheaton. Serious picnickin'... no "g".

Steve, it wasn't funny a year ago. It doesn't get funnier by substituting another verb. Or by repeating it 50 times in one show. Serious tw@ttery.
