I hate commercial radio, end of. Same moronic dross, played by morons, all day every day. Subjected to it all day at work. Drown it out with quality stuff from the phone.

They inflict a wretched, soulless effort called 'Heart FM' or some such on us in the canteen at work. It's on 103FM. By pure coincidence the FM transmitter I use to play my ipod also transmits on 103FM. Amazing how the music in the canteen improves when I'm in there! Folk have been known to wonder why Heart are suddenly playing The Clash, Stranglers, Sex Pistols etc while Adele and the like, have done a running jump

That Special Needs trail woman on Radio 2.

I know what station I'm listening to, so don't be so patronising and just talk properly !

Real radio's obsession with anything by Katy Perry turned me into an ex-listener.

Vapin' Joe

Formerly known as Smokin Joe
Jonathan Ross. He talks to much and he's not funny.

Re Steve "Love the show, Steve" Wright, a few years ago I was sitting in a Tesco's car park having a cup of tea and a cigarette (As one does) when he played Led Zep's Immigrant Song. Not often you hear that on radio so up went the volume and out came the steering wheel bongos, then would you Adam and Eve it, half way through he cut it off for a phone interview with Ant & Dec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I punched the off button so hard I had to buy a sticking plaster for a couple of knuckles. I have never forgiven him for that, or for talking over every half decent tune that comes along.

It's why I like Ken Bruce and Johnny Walker, they respect the music and save the chat for between songs.

I liked listening to Classic Rock Radio but gave it up due to the mind numbing commercial breaks that go on for 5 minutes. Those commercials stuck in my mind and i found myself running them over and over again which i suppose is their intention. I never bought anything they advertised though.
As for songs i turn off. Anything that keeps repeating the lyrics over and over. One More Night,by Phil Collins does my head in! Give me one more night, one more night, give me one more night Give me one more night, one more night, give me one more night Give me one more night, one more night, give me one more night Give me one more night, one more night, give me one more night Give me one more night, one more night, give me one more night

Arghhhhh!!!!!

Music I hate with a passion and makes me turn off instantly.

Cliff Richard
Billy Joel

And as for DJs that make me switch over, Mark Goodier was terrible on Radio 1 and now he is occasionally on Radio 2 I still am not impressed and the other DJ to make me switch over is Zoe Ball.

300km a week through London on a road bike.
The Archer's theme makes me switch from 4 to 6 at 2pm and 7pm. There's a particularly annoying trail on 6music at the moment that makes me switch back to 4 for a few minutes... as did The Waterboy's Whole of the Moon this aft. Sodding thing still got stuck in my head though
I love that song, you short-tempered ill-controlled small-minded troll ;)
