"A New York fashion photographer is suing a cyclist she rear-ended for the damage her Infiniti sustained while it was dragging his destroyed bike along the street

Where can you mow down a cyclist, send him to the ICU for four days—and then demand thousands in damages for your troubles?

Right here in the U.S. of A., of course.

Kionnei Lyons, a 25-year-old fashion photographer, was behind the wheel of a dark gray Infiniti sedan when she accidentally struck artist John Roemer as he was pedaling along a New York City street in Williamsburg on May 14 at around 6 p.m. “I just got slammed from behind, and I didn’t know she was even close to me,” Roemer, 27, tells us in a phone interview."

Typical Infiniti driver. They hanker for a BMW or Lexus but can't quite afford it, so they've a real chip on their shoulder.

You can TRY and sue anyone for anything, whether it gets thrown out or not is a matter for the courts.

That's a bit of a misleading headline. Nowhere in the article does it say that she accepts responsibility, let alone apologises. I expect that if she did say sorry, she would be lowering her chances of a successful lawsuit.

As usual an utterly biased blog, with further bias from cyclechat, I've just about...wait.

It was a Cinelli.

Hanging is too good for her.

Put her in the queue behind ISIS and Galloway.
