Sorted - Front derailleur 2x9 wanted.

Morning folks,

I'm looking for a replacement for my 20 year old sora front derailleur. If anyone has a double front mech lying around, I'll happily make an offer and negotiate a price.

Clamp size?, I'm guessing 28-28.6mm.

As an update, it's a 31.8mm clamp on derailleur I'm looking for.

I had a quick look round for an Ultegra derailleur that I have lying around somewhere but I couldn't find it. If you aren't sorted out by the weekend I'll have another look for it.

I just want to get to the stage in my cycling life where I have a big parts bin I can rummage in.

I haven't found the derailleur but found a post where I mentioned that it was for a 3 x 10. I don't know whether that would be compatible with a 2 x 9 setup? If someone in-the-know confirms that it would work, I'll have another look.

Just to update. I've managed to find a Sora 31.8mm band on front mech off facebook. Cash is sent and the chap will very kindly post it after the public holiday.
