Riding home just before Christmas, the front my streamer fairing sheared off. This is the part that fastens under the front of the boom with 2 jubilee clips, that the post which holds the front of the fairing slots into. It is unrepairable due to being aluminium and thin. I think one of these is the correct part http://www.hpvelotechnik.com/shopping/preisliste09_e.html ($49 or $65) but does anyone know of any uk based supplier who deal in spare parts or who could source me one. I know Bikefix sell the streamer, and I will give them a call after the hols, but ideally I'd like to go on a site, see a pic of the part, click, buy, job done.

I suspect that running the Streamer on an trike with an unforgiving ride (catrike 700) over quite rough roads did for the bracket.....in fact I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did! I reinforced the front bow bracket earlier in the year when it too decided that enough was enough, but this part is not fixable.

Mine broke too, during my LEJOG - the entire Streamer fixing kit is rather poor quality.

The diameter is a standard size for a plumbing pipe, so you can replace it at any DIY store/builders merchants.
