I disagree. One of the best innovations in the time I've been cycling, simple to fit and adjust.

Quill stems have an extremely limited amount of adjustment too, it is all down to making sure you get a bike that fits to begin with.
Agree. They are far easier to adjust and 3 of my 4 bikes are quill - the whole stable is 3 quill and 4 ahead.

Quill stems need a bit of precision and good tools. That said, quill stems are far neater.

Sure it’s fine but all those spacers might suggest you’ve got the wrong size bike?
My thoughts as well and I don't have a slammed stem. It's hard to be sure but it looks like 6-7 spacers have been used. I wouldn't be happy with the top clamp.
