Hello all!

It’s been a while! I’ve recently found myself in possession of a beautiful Argon 18 gallium frameset and thought it would be a good chance to learn how to set everything up myself.

It’s been a bloody nightmare but I’ve learned a lot.

One thing that still concerns me slightly is that the reading I’ve done suggests there should be a spacer on the drive side of my BB. Which I don’t have.

It’s a Sram BB86 BB and a Sram red crankset. Done up tight there’s no play on the cranks and they spin freely but there is a small gap between the frame and the non drive side crank, but no worse than I’ve seen on other frames.

Is it going to massively bugger things if I ride it? Anyway of gauging if the spacer is, as some places say, necessary?

Many thanks!
