Thanks for the posts! People have mention all bar the sport - would this be a good one?

My Sirrus is a Sport (an 06 model), at the time it seemed to offer the best value of weight to cost, iirc the better model weighed more at the time.

Hi Martin, I upgraded from a cheap MTB to sirrus sport in 2010 and loved it!! I will be honest and say i've had numerous bottom bracket problems but still I love riding it!! I used it for 12 mile commute rain snow and shine for 2 yrs daily till buying newer more expensive MTB to share the ware and tear. I've just had it out this weekend for 1st time in six months or so and its put a smile on my face again!! Also I've done several 30-50 mile rides on it with no major issues!! I'm considering doing C2C on it this yr but probably will use MTB as rest of group will be on MTB's!! Good Buy!!
