The base model
I'd sell the Sirrus and get the Triban 3, just my 2p...assuming you are not doing the rebuild yourself, it will undoubtedly cost you less. £200 for the Sirrus and another £100 for the Triban, STIs and a carbon fork
The basic Sirrus has pretty anonymous gear and brake parts and a steel fork, I have no idea if it can be converted to use the existing gears and brakes
Mine did come a road groupset but its a 2006 model, it has fwiw a sora front mech and a tiagra rear. FWIW It converted well and was financially viable IMO but (and probably a big butDon't know but the Sirrus didn't come with the road groupsets as far as I know, but the more MTB ones - Acera, Alivio, Deore - No Sora, Tiagra...if that makes a difference, not sure
