Nice buy. Isn't Vickster a fan of black frames?
Yep, love em ;) but I’ve got enough bikes, including a carbon one 👍

I spoke to Trek on livechat just now. This is the size guide for Domane frames:

I'm 5 ft 8" and inside leg 29". I think I'm 54cm especially since my Ape Index is +8cm.

Looks right. I'm 5' 8'' and inside leg 31''. My bike is a 56cm. When I first got it, it seemed as though the saddle height was a little too high even in its lowest position. Treks use a seat mast and seat cap arrangement, a reversal of the more usual or traditional female frame & male seatpost arrangement. I took a hacksaw to mine and cut 20mm off each - no detrimental effect. Later I moved the seat forward about 10mm, and ended up raising the saddle by 20mm, so back to where it started! Moral of story is if it feels a little tall with the saddle at lowest, try moving the saddle forward before either rejecting or cutting.

I'd by that Reacto if I had enough cash to call that amount 'spare' and then probably stick on the wall in my lounge rather than ride it.

How very quaint. You sound so very old-fashioned!
