Anybody seen one, test ridden one and what they think

i'm still undecided on what road bike with disc brakes to buy. i have my c2w voucher of 1k..........

what would you spend the money on?? the voucher is for evans cycles only.....and NO additional top up value will be added

Been looking at these as a possible replacement for my aging Secteur, they seem to be replacing the Secteur in Spesh's line up?

Don't think they look as well spec'd as the Synapse so still favouring that at the minute, unless the budget stretches to this one

I test rode the Diverge against the Synapse. The Diverge felt more eager, like it wanted to sprint away at the drop of a hat, the Synapse felt more comfortable and nicer to climb on. As I already had a Specialized, and because I just about preferred the qualities of it (but it was close) I went for the Synapse. I'm still happy with the decision, many miles later.

The spec of the Synapse looks way better than the Diverge, good decision I reckon

Does it have guard fixing points and plenty of clearance?

Yay :P Was going to post that I wouldn't look at the Diverge over the Syanpse given then usual less for you money components of Spesh bikes, unless you'd want bigger tyres!

It takes 28mm tyres which im happy about for winter/commuting.

Just need to spec a wheel change now

Looking at the kinesis crosslight v3 disc or maybe 38mm chinese carbons. Not sure which yet as even though the biked being delivered tmrw i wont see it til crimbo day

I'm planning on getting something like w00hoo_kent's recent purchase. Bit more than the crosslights but they sound well made and I do like the look of the archetype rims...

Disc brake wheel shuffle, looking for suggestions.
