More than one set , n+1 apllies not to just bikes, at last count i had about 10 shirts and similar shorts along with 5 long sleeve base layers, 4 l/s jerseys, 3 trousers, at least 2 sets of arm/leg warmers, 2 gilets, 3 windproofs, waterproof leggins, 3 short finger gloves , 4+ full finger gloves....Cheers Puffinbilly, I'll pop down Pelaw tomorrow if I get a chance.
"Lubed up?" The temptation for innuendo is almost too much. I'm not lubed up or at least I don't think I am and I'm only cycling very short distance at the minute.
Regarding my new MFX shorts, its difficult to give a fair appraisal of their performance as I have nothing to compare them to/ with. I can say with a degree of certainty that some padding is far preferable to none. I'm sure they are more economy class than club class but when you've been strapped to the wing with gaffer tape, economy class seems like luxury.
I've just chucked them in the wash for tomorrow's outing so this could be a bit of a test of their resilience.

They're hardly a lubricant, sudocreme is the least slippery stuff there ischamois cream/sudocreme
Op, when washing cycling kit avoid biological washing powder and especially fabric softener. Wash on a 30 with other darks and drip dry
