I wonder if you can have your own designed tartan made up?🤔 You can have your own tweed if you're willing to pay, which I'm told amounts to about £1500 for a tweed suit in your own designed pattern.

I went to the local shoemaker/shop yesterday. As usual for me I was at the last minute and got there 15 minutes before they closed. I told them it'd be better if I had a quick look then came back tomorrow. Sensing a sale they/he said he wasn't in a rush and would stay open as long as I wanted to make a decision. I thanked him, but said I'd need time to think about the options, so best to go home and think about it. After giving it much thought I've decided on these. Yes, I know they're 'formal' Oxford shoes, but the light tan colour and the two colours in the heel give them a touch of informality I'd say. 🤔
