.if you are paying so much for dress shoes why should you expect to be in pain ?

I've worn them now for about 12 hours and not much more than a slight hint of breaking in discomfort. They aren't easy to break in 'plastic leather' shoes though. I can tell by the feel, the smell and the look of them that they are as well made as twice the price shoes I've bought. 🤔

No matter how hard I've tried I have never been able to get a complete mirror shine. My efforts have reached 'slightly steamed up mirror' level, but not a crystal clear shine.🧐

It seems 'Steegan' was/is and old company from the 1960's.🤔

I'm thinking of buying a retro type tennis/cricket/rowing club badge for my newly acquired 'hideous' spring/summer blazer's breast pocket.🤔

Trousers wise, I have a pair of terracotta coloured chinos. Would they go with the blazer and my new Loake, brown suede brogues though? 🤔 I'm thinking the chinos will be too dark and will clash with the mid brown shoes.🤔

It is! My ex bedroom has developed into a walk in wardrobe. Not through choice, more it just slowly happened.

Bargain of the year so far? I picked this Schoffel fleece up in the Salvation Army charity shop in Clitheroe this aft' for a mere £2.50!

It's in navy, though my camera makes it look slightly charcoal i'd say.🤔 I would've preferred burgundy, but beggars can't be choosers as they say and at least it's not boring black!!🧐

It'd only just arrived an hour before I saw it. It fits perfectly and as far as i can see is in almost new condition! Funnily enough I was toying with the idea of buying a Schoffel fleece from this place up the road from the charity shop. https://vareys.co.uk/schoffel-men-gilets-and-fleeces.

I assume you're going to sell this on, a man of you're taste surely won't be seen wearing a 'fleecy ' however much they cost.

It's quite slim fitting, not all baggy and 'casual'. It won't look out of place with a pale blue or tattersall shirt, worn with either a tweed or tartan tie (polka dot cravat as well maybe). Cords and chinos, with brogues even the slightly casual oxfords I have will look ok with it. All in my opinion of course.

Edit.....Something like this maybe.🤔
