I've taken to eating porridge in the morning, plus beans on toast and coffee at mid ride cafe stops, to enhance my carbohydrate levels.
I worked in a jelly baby factory up in Sheffield. My advice is stop immediately.I scrape the white powder off jelly babies and save it.
When I have enough I snort it.
It's transformed my rides.

I see you're from Canada. I used to be from New Hampshire many years ago - I grew up there. It used to be maple sugar for me, my ride enhancer before heading off on long exploratory bike rides instead if going to school.Maple syrup & espresso.
