Here I am, stuck at home waiting for John Lewis to deliver a new fridge. Delivery time was given as 0700 to 1400, so well done JL; at least it's not the usual 0700/1900.
What's the odds that it will be a whole lot closer to 1400 than 0700?
I'm going to risk jumping into the shower for 10 minutes; that should bring them knocking at my door!

Oh, and it's dry without much wind this morning - potential was there for a few miles of pedalling. Instead I feel a morning of excessive CycleChat coming on; maybe I could dip a toe into SCP  (no, that's taking things a step too far!).

At least it will be good to see the Zanussi POS disappearing out of here :wahhey:.

Day time TV - Countdown, Jeremy Kyle, Judge Judy.......lots of really intellectual programmes to keep you stimulated.
Is "Watch with Mother" still on at lunch time? Andy Pandy; Bill and Ben etc....

Anytime I've had a John Lewis delivery, although they initially give a wide window for delivery, on the day it's been narrowed down to a much smaller window (but I can't remember whether I rang them or they rang me to get that smaller delivery window estimate.)

Get the hoosework done:okay:

I was in your fading holiday resort town on Monday, avoided the curry but salivated then demolished a 'Viking' fish supper followed by the refreshing burp inducing Diet Bru...

the A78 wasn't that bad, it was that rumbly road over from Kilbirnie which was the problem, a horrible surface
I remember the good old days when that wet bit was our swimming pool.

The gulls must have been sleeping to allow you to step that far away from a fish supper without them swooping on it!

Its a great wee place..
I don't get down often enough..
The Mrs is scared in case I go for a day trip and stay 6 years plus like the first time:laugh:
