Steerer Size Help!

im after some new carbon forks for my winter bike, but i dont know the size of steerer tube to order!!!

either 1" or 1 1/8"!!!???

my bike is a specialized allez!

Almost certainly 1 1/8", but take the top cap off and measured the diameter to make sure.

its 1 1/8.

Very few current road bikes are anything else

My Allez came with carbon forks, are you just changing for changes sake? or so you can have 'guard eyelets. if it's for eyelets, have you considered buying a pair of £3 'P' clips? BTW the steerer tube will be 1 1/8th.

cheers guys, ive ordered some new forks today!

yea i want a fork with mudguard eyes, tried the "p" clips, they are fine on the rear, but they didnt seem right on the front fork!!
