Indeed!Fatter tyre at a reasonable pressure should be all you need for road use.
i'm on 38 and no idea of the pressure i can squeeze about a 1/4 inch
I would rather own a pressure gauge than a flex stem. I've tried both, the gauge is better.sorry I have never owned a pressure gauge. ever since I was small its always been that feels alright. I will probably get round to getting one but never really saw the need. I have never had a pinch flat and up until the accident my bike was comfortable' But the question of a suspension stem seemed an elegant solution for suspension on a road orientated bike and I wondered if anyone had tried one.
