Sticky theft prevention thread

I wondered if there would be an appetite for the provision of a sticky thread here to provide the definitive guide on how to reduce the possibility of one's bike being nicked, in much the same way that there is the guide for new commuters.

With all the newbies out there it would be good to point them at a single link.

Thoughts ?

Yes, perhaps initially 'stuck' for a couple of years, then periodically review the need/number of visits?
