Getting old but not past it
Location
North Wales
I have been having one for the last 3 days and consequently have eaten very little but drink loads of water. The toilet seat is my best friend at the moment and can't wait to get back to normal. One good thing is that I will be a bit lighter on the bike when I get my strength back for a ride.
Not a very healthy start of the year is it?

Coke!

We used to recommend for students abroad with dodgy tummies

When abroad, most of the "Dioralyte" and other medicines needed to use local water, which could be part of the original problem

Take a bottle of Coke (or Pepsi) and you know the standards of production

Crack the top and leave to go flat, it contains lots of sugar as well as some important electrolytes

I had one for a week but no pooping just constant pain. Couldn't sleep. I'd rather have the squits version, just get it out of your system. Andrews salts is good.

The three day cure I was given when I lived in the Jordan Valley, many years ago, was liquid morphine, dry toast and black tea..
If the tea and toast didn't work, you really didn't give a sh**.. Well, you still did, but really didn't care!

I've been icky since boxing day. Started with the up-chucks, then the chills, and now symptoms like a cold. No running or riding since 20th December. Still not right.
