Oh who's a grumpy sour pus then?:hello:

I know I know

But, say for example I turned up to a family cycling event with my daughter (which I presume this was a family friendly event). Why should I have to worry about bell ends on tall bikes and the carnage they would cause if they fell off.

I know, it comes to something when you have to worry about your kids being taken out by a falling hipster but I think the danger is fairly minimal really. Perhaps issue your daughter with some sort of protective head gear.
On a slightly more serious note, if I was there with children I might just hang back a little bit an watch from a safer distance just to absolutly minimise any danger, I think things like this are worth a bit of risk as long as people are sensible, which they seemed here. Mostly.
