Since I find them under 'new posts' they could be in CX, duathlon and triathlon for all I know
.

Perhaps because any subject with a political connection attracts "them" like flies round sh!te?A claim that is oft made but lacks any reality.
You made a controversial statement, which appears to be at odds with the available evidence. If you don't like being challenged, stick with bikkit choices on the tea thread.Perhaps because any subject with a political connection attracts "them" like flies round sh!te?
"Ooh, look, the café has a post about something which is my area of expertise, given that I am an expert on absolutely everything. I must post on that and demand links to every claim being made, and a full thesis on the subject, because obviously everyone has as much spare time as I do to spend going round in pointless circles on an internet forum".<<<< Here, have a yellow face thing just to keep it café style

You must have the wrong person. Tea thread is not my, errr, cup of tea, but you might be able to drag up the occasional historical contribution if you go back far enough. You made a controversial statement, which appears to be at odds with the available evidence. There's a time and place for thinking about stuff. Personally, I don't think a public forum full of strangers is the place for it. I come on here for light entertainment. YMMV, and each to their own and all that....I never read it, but I think you'd like it there. You certainly don't seem to like being asked to think about stuff.

In which case a thread which opens thus:There's a time and place for thinking about stuff. Personally, I don't think a public forum full of strangers is the place for it. I come on here for light entertainment. YMMV, and each to their own and all that....
It got me thinking - do the police have any right to stop and search you or even stop and question you?
I do enjoy the occasional wind-up too, that's part of the light entertainment.Which, on the face of it, is all very reasonable. When you write this though
It is clear that there is more to it. A festering passive aggressive resentment.
You are correct, but I don't get upset by any posts on this forum, or I would cease to read it. There is a degree of head shaking at the arrogance and rudeness of posts by one contributor in particular (no name mentioned) but I am far from alone in that. Always nice to see him have a fall, as he doesTalk about stuff, don't talk about stuff. It is a simple choice we can all make. Get upset about other people's posts, don't get upset about other people's posts. It is a simple choice we can all make.
Police or Mormons?they tend to dress very smartly... and often lurk on the shared use paths.
