I thought we'd already had Doris!
Turns out that she's on her way in day or two..

Hill Wimp

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
She started knocking on the door of the beach yesterday evening then got bored because we ignored her.

All was quiet up to half an hour ago but she has started banging again so I have put the washing out.

She is due to kick in the door here around 10am tomorrow and continue trashing the place up until late evening.

Some facts about the name Doris

My grandmother was called Doris, she was born in 1906 and died in 1992 - Love and kisses, Nana xx. I can remember when I was a young lad, my granddad getting impatient with her and saying in a loud voice, "For goodness sake, Doris".

The central character in Tom Sharpe's hilarious novel, "Ancestral Vices" had a computer which he was very fond of and which he named Doris.

This must be the 3rd or 4th storm named Doris in the past year or so.

It's just brightened up here considerably, so I'm going out on the bike for an hour as there'll be no chance tomorrow.
