Strange bike.

There's probably a rather nice bike under all that terrible paint. I understand why people do these things, but I do think it's a shame when they do.

600 people in a little shop seems rather a lot too, but hey ho.

Or could have been a deliberate effort by the genuine owner to disguise a perfectly good bike to make it less attractive to thieves. I've often thought of doing similar myself, but perhaps not quite as extreme as this particular paint job!

Similar to what I am thinking, the owner has succeeded in getting a bike that's noticed (well hopefully drivers notice) but one that's hopefully not too attractive to the wrong kind and all the time riding something which is quite good 👍

Paintwork makes perfect thieves deterrent.
