Strange envelope occurence.

I opened tonights post in the semi dark and when opening the envelope as the flap/glue interface came unstuck it gave off a blue glow.

Has anyone noticed this before?

By sticking it back together I was able to get it to do it again so it wasn't my imagination.

Yep, and I saw pink elephants when cycling back from the local. The world is soooo colourful.

It's pretty amazing.

Pulling cellotape off a roll quickly generates flashes of light in the dark.

It kept me occupied for quite a while until I ran out of tape.

I've checked three rolls of sellotape and a roll of packing tape. Only one worked - magic tape.

Sugar and teaspoon in a glass didn't work.

I do need to get out more.

Sellotape didn't work for me either. Maybe I need to try a pitch-black room.

Hold the rubbed balloon near a gentle stream of water and watch the water deflect towards the balloon. This is static electricity though a different phenomenon to sparky tape in the dark things.
