By "Peli" - Do you mean a Pelicase?

If so the answer is very simple

Four drilled holes with small "case feet" positioned to position the case on the rack

Then a couple of good quality velcro cinch straps (Mine are 50mm x 92 cm) and nothing will move it!



Otherwise these straps will secure most things to a rack. Two running across the rack and one along the line of the bike makes things immoveable

Or - depending on how much kit, there is the Ortleb "Photo Shuffle) designed for this purpose:

But at £280 the velcro straps are a little cheaper!

yeah its a 1510 and with a lot of kit in it becomes crazy heavy

I think if I had 260 spare for cycling camera stuff it would be the lovely 3 legged thing tripod I had a play with today

I'll try some ratchet straps/bungees with the bag sans camera and see what I get
