From the end of march sky tv customers can get disney , netflix and hbo plus for £6 (?) a month
from what i have read tnt sports will move to hbo max at that time for the normal sub of £31 still so if your a sky tv customer hopefully you might get cycling back.
I currently have a basic package plus disney as a separate sub so im actually saving £10 a month and gaining the extra services .

I have decided not to subscribe to discovery +, or HBO or whoever is showing the cycling. I have done in years gone by but I don't want adverts interrupting the races and I really can't stand the voice of Rob Hatch.

I'll have to put up with reading the spoilers on Cyclechat, and reading Cycling Weekly as I have done for 50+ years.

I tend to be days behind, Tiz working fine on replays.
With todays glorious weather I am first catching up on the womens football.

I used it for last weekend’s races. One of their streams was on YouTube.
Le Samyn on Tuesday and none of their streams worked for me.
Tiz is the ad free option.
Strange
I have watched both Omloop, KBK, Le Samyn and SB with no problems.
I do watch on catch up as I am out riding my bike/working when the races are live.
I'm sure you are aware, but just in case, you do have to turn off adblocker or Tiz streams won't work. Once off you have to play whack a mole with pop up ads for a minute but after that it runs fine

I find tiz ok but the lack of a proper highlight stream for a race means you either get a whole race to scan through or the last 10 km .

Yes to all of this. I found it very odd too, although it wasn’t all plain sailing yesterday.
Maybe I had left on the wrong VPN is all that I can think of.

Anyhow, I really enjoyed the woman’s race and the Scotland France game wasn’t too shabby either!

I will probably watch a bit of the men’s race on catch up. (Already seen the UAE demolition job and Pog riding off into the distance)

This isn't quite right. Not in so far as the cycling is concerned anyway. Sky customer will get the "basic" HBO Max, and there are various tiers. The basic comes with ads, and then you can have no ads, UHD option, and then there's a "Sports" option, which adds TNT at the current £31 a month

Ad blockers?

I didn't like the ads but I felt that the frequency, length, and timing of them were tolerable. I just muted the sound while they were on.

as I generally mute the sound during the commentary anyway, I dont lose out either way

This is what I was led to believe in most of the info I have received as a sky customer but I have also received one email suggesting I would get tnt with adds as part of my hbo package at the basic price. I have my doubts and as always the devil is in the details. All other info suggests tnt would cost the same as on discovery +, so £30.99.
I live in hope . 😂
