@Reynard it wasn't car I recognised, but I'm no expert and I only really glanced at it, haven't got a picture I'm afraid. I'll try and photograph it when I'm next in that neighbourhood.

Got to love it when your day off is the nicest day of the week. I've seen so much wildlife it felt like I was on a south London safari.

Badger and fish in Stockwell by Rocket01.

Kingfishers in Penge trying to fish in a discarded plastic bottle, maybe in reference to recent reports of the alarming amounts of plastic found in our rivers and oceans.

And these last ones are all in Selhurst. A couple of new foxes

A squirrel in front of some excellent ruins of Tower Bridge.

And another excellent tiger, I'm seeing them all over London now.

It's probably something early to mid-80s, going by the fact that it's fairly blocky in shape. Instinct says Opel Kadett.

I might be barking up the wrong tree. Either that, or it's proof that I'm a complete and total nerd.

I think it's either an Opel Manta or an Audi Quattro ?

Hmmm...

Other than the original development Manta that was entered into the Mille Pistes, it's the wrong colour - the works Mantas were kitted out in Rothmans Livery.

OTOH it's the right colour for a Quattro, but the headlamp cluster doesn't look right...

Let's see when the whole car gets posted.

A mash-up between Opel Kadett and Escort XR3i on the front and the back end looks almost like a Merc 190E

A Mark 3 Escort cabriolet, don't see many of those anymore ...I'm eagerly awaiting episode 10 on YouTube of Gordon Murray's bespoke Mark 1 Ford Escort, done by the Retropower guys, its almost finished so its just the final assembly and big reveal to go. It all went a bit car geeky there, no problem, we are all mad here.

I've posted numerous images by Maikel Walkman of his crash test dummy figures, but all the ones I've got so far are the dummies at play or doing something other than the day job, this is the first one I've actually seen doing any driving, even if it is only a pedal kart.

@DP I expect the Dutch transport police could be in touch with him pretty soon if he keeps that up.
I saw another one of the wool installations in Tooting, don't know if it was by the same person that did the last one or not. I was in a car at the time so only managed the first photo, but my mate Toby went past it later in the day and got the other two for me, cheers fella

Hmmm, Gordon Murray. BT46 - totally insane but ridiculously fast. And detested by anyone following behind. BT55 - interesting premise but a total pile of poop... Although it would go like stink in a straight line when they derestricted the turbo - 1400 bhp iirc

I came across a few works in Latimer Rd by an artist called Endless, who's work uses advertising imagery and plays with the public obsession with brand worship.
