So another series of Strictly starts tonight
It can't be that time of the year already surely
Some new pro's added but same judges as 2021
Any other house hold watch it ?
Any thoughts on who might star this year

I’m very excited about it! It’s just fun family TV and makes the dark evenings happier! I have Will Mellor in the sweepstake.

I'm sure some other households do watch it but not here.

One of my wife's girlfriends raved over it - so we gave it a fair shot and watched a few episodes but it wasn't for us.

Some of the dancing was good but the OTT contestants and hideous panel members killed it for us.

Each to their own and I'm sure many will thoroughly enjoy watching it.

And you've not even mentioned Tess Daly's hysterical screeching.

I have never seen it but know what it is.

It sounds like a way of keeping has been celebs in work.

To save you the trouble there's usually -

BBC breakfast presenter
Old bloke who's rubbish for everyone to laugh at
Old woman who's rubbish for everyone to laugh at
Ex boy/girl band member
Recently retired sports men and women who want to get into TV presenting
Soap star
Woman over 50 who might still be described as, 'very nice,' eg Felicity Kendal
Various other oddballs who, when you hear them announced, you immediately think, 'who?'

I moan about it every year so I don't think this year should be an exception, if its your thing then enjoy it, but why is it constantly rammed down our throats on news programmes etc, its a tired format and needs relegating to daytime TV IMO, not hogging weekend prime viewing time, of course I don't have to watch, it won't be on in our house.
