Oh dear, hope it heels soon and he and you slept well.
Glad the hospital was still there despite Tory scum.
They've done a great job of the sewing. We stopped off at the scene on the way back just now and found his tooth! Not sure how much use it is to him but.
4:45 am time for bed...
Did they get a maxillofacial expert in to do the stitching? A friend once needed 4 stitches on her face (and a couple of dozen above the hair line which they let a generalist sew) and the called in a specialist. They've done a great job of the sewing.
It was a maxfax plastics person. My friend also had no structural damage, but was scalped, literally, by a flying sign in high winds.A maxfax surgeon wouldn't have been much good unless there was was structural damage to the face (which luckily it sounds as though there wasn't). A plastics specialist would be best to reduce scarring.
