I have an issue with one of my bikes shifters
The spring has never been located properly and now I'm wondering if there's a bit missing or broken

Anyone offer any suggestions?

Only kidding, if it is serviceable I would keep it too. Sadly I can't recall how the pawl (?) spring attached.
