It also got warm in North Yorkshire I went for not too much clothing and just took a rain jacket in case it got cold. In the end it was too warm for arm warmers and even felt a bit hot sat outside the safe. Coffee and Salted Caramel flapjack was the order of the day. 71 miles done including a grovel up Wass Bank.

Enjoyed the ride, mostly like riding in the Borders, apart from the Suie climb (could do with a bigger granny gear on the road bike). Pleased to manage it without flaking out, recovery must be nearly complete!
A very well organised sportif, even had soup, sandwiches, and cake at the end. Weather was spot on as well, sunny but not too hot!
