Nope nope nope.

Nobody will be expecting an indicator on a helmet so nobody will look for it. Therefore if you want to indicate you will either be relying on this which is dangerous else using your arm anyway in which case this is redundant.

This usual crap is designed by people in cars who occasionally cycle.

I think its a reasonable idea but the indicators be noticed anymore than the ones you can stick on a bike and would drivers pay attention to them when they are expecting a hand signal?.
Does the website make clear that the lights would also be supplemental as legally lights are supposed to be at a certain height?

When you turn your head to do a life saver shoulder check before turning right, you are then indicating left (ish). Badly thought out, unnecessary tat.
