When I used to race motorcycles I was deliberately non superstitious. A lot of friends had superstitions / lucky vests / lucky charms / set routines before a race etc, but I didn't want to be caught up in that.

Although thinking about it maybe being deliberately non superstitious was a superstition in itself:huh:

Just remembered as I've just done it. I have to put roll on deodorant under my left arm first, then when I've done the right armpit I have to do one more roll under the left one.

I always tie my left shoelace first, then my right one. It's also the left one first when I untie them.

When I park my car on a hill, or even a slight slope I never walk in front of it, if it's facing downwards, or behind it if it's facing upwards, just in case I haven't put the hand break on or left it in gear. Is this a superstition or just common road safety sense? 🤔
