I was at the doctors today, exactly 2 weeks since I had my surgery to remove the troublesome gallbladder.
I had a couple of stitches poking out where the drain was but she reckons they are dissolvable and will disappear but she trimmed them for me.
I am not allowed back on the bike for another 4 weeks
She said it was only the surgeons' skill that stopped me having open surgery and that it had been a difficult operation, mentioning adhesions etc.
Anyway, a bit disappointing, but I also know how utterly drained I'm feeling at the moment.
After hubby took me to the docs (not allowed to drive yet either) we went to Iceland and Asda and then home and
I am shattered!
Someone pass me a muffin, or a hug or something....
