So, we are off to Stranraer for a week soon, and my lovely wife has given me permission to take a bike.
I know the roads round the North and South Rhinns well, but fancy a change. Does anyone know the area round Port William - Whithorn - Wigtown? Looking to do 2 - 4 hour rides.
Thanks.

The most south western point of Scotland is a pleasant 23 mile (ish) ride from Stranraer. Mull of Galloway lighthouse. There are options to vary the route by using either the A716 or B7065.

Edit.. Sorry, is Mull of Galloway on the south Rhinns of which you speak and therefore already know?
Can't help with the Whithorn area.
