Reminds me of a recent RTA I had. Whilst I was waiting to get onto a roundabout, a car behind me assumed I'd already gone and shunted me towards the roundabout. My back wheel was completely wrecked (rim sheared into several sections, and spokes hanging off), but otherwise I think the bike's OK. I was shaken up, but so glad to be unscathed that I accepted £20 for the damage. No witnesses/record of it, and I didn't note (nor ask for) the driver's details or reg.
