Having been on antibiotics and painkillers for the past fortnight my wife has only just spotted that I take all of my scheduled dose of pills together with a glug or two of water.

She's always taken her pills one at a time.

How do you take yours?

They're all going to end up in the same stomach - so what difference does it make?

1 gulp for me, and I take loads of 'em!

Usually all in one go, unless I've got to pop the Diclofenac- a prescription anti-inflammatory as I have early-onset arthritis. That has to come after food as it can do nasty things to your innards otherwise. It sorts the knee out though.

Since moving from an unheated house to one with C/H I have gone from being more or less on it all the time to about one script a year.

I have to take low dose aspirin and slimvastatin, I ain't bothered how I take them as long as I take them, the big challenge is remembering to take them, if the mrs didn't remember for me I would forget to take them most nights

If I remember, most mornings I take a vitamin, 2 fish oil tablets and a glucosamine. Swallow them all together. I take statins too, but that's at night.

One at a time in no particular order, assisted by my 2nd or 3rd mug of morning tea. I've set up my online calendar to send me a reminder every night for the simvastatin because I forget to take it otherwise.

Put them in a daily pill box on the shelf next to the tea/coffee and you can't fail you see them every time you make a brew and the box shows if you have taken them.

Each month I get reflux tablets supplied in weekly strips with the days marked, they last between 5 and 6 weeks.... today is Saturday by the way.

[Edit: Just checked, it's still Friday]

First thing with breakfast is Omega 3 pills, Kelp, Garlic, multi V. Then 2 pro-biotics with mid morning home made smoothie, then none to sleepy time which is a sleeping tablet; clearly this is probably the best time to take the ST.

Off soon for a night in the Frenchay sleep clinic; jeez that'll be a chuckle.
