Daylight to the station for a change, still kept my lights on flashing with all the dozy best about.
Morning all. A glorious morning here in the South East. Sun shine and blue skies.
Temps are a little low at 7° at the moment but should rise quite quickly.
The new cycle lane in Deptford is a welcome addition. Though remains to be see how long it takes to get full of crap and the cones to be flattened.

Damp last night, but a fine sunny spring morning and forecast to be equally wonderful all week. Blue skies, singing birds not even too much traffic.
Not as nice as yesterday by many metrics - colder, more overcast with traffic essentially backed up nearly past my front door for much of the way into the city.
It was pretty much gridlock until I reached the ring road, the traffic so dense that it slowed me down markedly as I had to keep dipping into the crawling cars to avoid oncoming vehicles. There are some roadworks going on but the ring road looks horrific so I assume someone's done something particularly stupid on the A34.
Elected for only two sausages as they didn't look that well cooked - more fool me when I got to the office to find the pair I had scored crisp and delicious... at least I got some scratchings as well.
Not a bad ride in and notably free of morons - unlike last night's trip to the shops where some absolute tool in a car overtook me by travelling entirely on the on-path cycle lane through Osney Mead - what I'd not have given for an on board camera...
