Private cars remain the biggest hazard to our health, by far.

I'm not sure I agree.
I am at more danger on the roads by those riding chipped ebikes who have neither the skill to handle them, the ability to obey traffic laws and ride at double the speed of other vehicles in cycle lanes where riders expect to be amongst much slower moving traffic.

With motor vehicles, the biggest risk to health is the pollution from them, but this is being reduced all the time with the move away from the ICE

The forthcoming fuel shortages will clear the roads a bit for us. Expect though to have all manner of numpties riding into work.

It will make the problems worse are more people will be riding chipped ebikes that they have not got the skills for and will be riding them in the segregated lanes as well

It's the yellow model with the shifters with the ears , the lh has the window cover missing.thecwheels have seen better days and the cables look tatty. Not even checked the chain wear yet! It is the right size 😄

Cool - sounds like it might make a decent utility hack perhaps...?

I agree the time was 6 years or so ago, but we can't just let the situation get worse and do nothing - ok, we can, but that achieves nothing

The difficulty is that now there are so many illegal electric motorcycles that the practicalities of removing them from circulation are not trivial.

Leave it to the police. They will continue to harass, fine, seize, & arrest users of fast e bikes.

Every now and then in my part of London, the police do a blitz, stop and seize. But it is rare and there are far too many illegals for the police manpower that they have at their disposal.

I forgot to post my commute last night as I was quickly in the door got changed and went out again for a group ride. There isn't really much to report, except the train was busy with kids and push chairs as it usually is during half-terms and the only thing moving at congestion hot spots on the road was a bike. Junctions were clogged but the roads in between were nice and quiet.

A few stops up the line when the prams stood up to get off blocking the door so I managed to nip in before others got on to fill the gap.

I just hope there is enough for me to go on holiday to the South Coast at the end of the month. Not using much otherwise.

Prompt response to the school. Obviously pre prepared for complaints about parking as it went through all the options they had done over the last five years but my complaint would be passed with others to the council. They are obviously concerned with the illegal parking and danger this causes.
