This will be my third Kyosho motorcycle build, the last one was 25 years ago. I sold the Honda and still have the Suzuki but the front wheel is semi seized and I can't figure out why.
You'll have no problems getting it up and running when the build is complete then.

Liked them on the shelves, hated to think what it'd look like after an afternoons use.

I used to dream of a RC car as a kid, but they were serious megabucks 50 odd years ago (unless you were the metalwork teacher's son). The nearest I got was a Frogeye Sprite running off an umbilical cord, and a car battery stood on the floor, and even that never got finished.
I used to have a very nice Tomaso Mangusta toy car when I was a kid.
It was also connected to an umbilical cord.I remember my parents buying it from Rhyl back in the early 80,s.
It used to eat through some strange type battery size that I haven't seen for years and my Pocket money couldn't keep up with the cost of them.

I had a small Mini first which had no steering, that just went forward and back, then I had a lorry like below, but quickly lost interest because it was slow and ate batteries. I lost interest in finishing the Frogeye because I didn't understand heatsinking at the time I designed the controller, and it overheated.
