Show them only those and ask them to pick one.
Buy one.
Ask relative to never darken your door again.

What a morning
The Astra was clean enough but excessive wear on drivers seat bolster for my liking.
Said relative spotted a BMW 1 series at same garage and rather liked it so she asked for the keys and off we went for a test drive
After 200 yards she declared this was the one
We pulled up and I was asked to road test it so I did and it drove ok and all seems fine so looks like she is going with it .
I am amazed as only yesterday I was told no got to be a Juke

At least it's over. Fairly practical are the 1 series, so long as it doesn't have the silly fat wheels - very expensive for tyres

I will wait till she takes delivery before declaring it's over as she is away stateside on Monday for next 10 days with work.

BMW's are at least fun to drive!..

It was nice to drive the few miles I drove it , and I liked the 6 speed gearbox.

For my personal liking it was too low down .

Evidently it needs a screen for the apple car app facilities as every driver needs that don't they....

I had a BMW 116d about 12 years ago. Fitted winter tyres and surprised many drivers of fwd and 4wd vehicles when we had a big dump of snow and i quite happily drove past them.
