Tattoos on ladies

Tattoos on ladies...
There's always this one that apparantly the bearer had a double mastectomy and thought this to be their best way of facing the surgical scarring. Its occurring regularly on Facebook. The story goes that people keep getting offended by it (nudity.. ignoring all the truly offensive things that occur on FB...) and FB keep taking it down.

I didn't think scar tissue took tattoos very well. something about the ink running...
(have been considering my options for my left leg to hide some interesting scarring and had briefly looked into it but not too much at this stage it is still too early in the healing process with the scar tissue (8-12 months some of it took a long time to form).

I saw that last week. All power to her I say - and she also got a decent artist to do the work

I didn't think scar tissue took tattoos very well. something about the ink running...
(have been considering my options for my left leg to hide some interesting scarring and had briefly looked into it but not too much at this stage it is still too early in the healing process with the scar tissue (8-12 months some of it took a long time to form).

In this case I suspect the actual scarring would be minimal, given that it was a planned operation I suspect it was done neatly and the tatt design will have taken that into account

'scars' in the more normal sense may be harder to deal with

didnt mean to be, the comment was in relation to the pther 'art' that exists on the thread - personally I draw like a monkey with no thumbs so I cant partonise anyone able to draw anything other than a stick figure

lol.. not you! The tattoo! A bit too romantic/girlie/cute/blooming/positive/you-are-beautiful-no-matter-what-they-say for my liking, but a great job altogether!

yep, not my type of ink either, but then its not my body (and I'd look daft with a flowers and wabbits tattoo)
