What've you missed? Um, snow, bad puns, Speicher's job, various P+L types throwing their toys out of the pram/getting themselves banned/storming off into the sunset. Ooh, and I got my new frame! I'm taking the day off work tomorrow to finish building it up!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Not much change here, been on a few CC rides, here, here and here which have been really good fun.
Snow, for once in London, everything inc. buses ground to a halt for 2 days!

And a lot of tea as you might expect.
Welcome back!

Morning all. That French trip sounds fun, Arch.

Egg sarnie, anyone? The Laydeez have supplied.

Yes, I think it will be. I really shouldn't have agreed, I have so much to do. But...

Was hearing a thing on radio yesterday, about books that are selling well because of the credit crunch and apparently sales of "Home Chicken Keeping" are way up - although I don't think that's a recession thing, I think the trend was starting well before the downturn and has more to do with good ethical food than money.

They also mentioned this book, with a nice snappy title...

On a similar theme someone on the Lunchtime news on Tuesday, I think, was saying how some of the leading English Rugby Players had decided to move to a French Club. The spokesperson went on to say that he did not think "it was a level playing field" because the French clubs could pay their players more.:smile:

BTW my job - it is only four hours a week, and unpaid. So I am not sure if "job" is the right word. It will hopefully be interesting, and rewarding, with flexible days/hours ....... er how many jobs fit that description?;)

Well, I did wonder about the word job, but couldn't really think of a more suitable word... Job is nice and quick to type...

Oh noes! The boss has been to the bakers and come back with a bag of teeny bitesized chocolate flapjack pieces. Virtually no calories in each, I reckon, so add up all those virtually nothings, and I can have a dozen or so without guilt!:smile:

I've had two, and stopped. For now...

Great value though, from Thomas's, Tang hall, they call it yesterbake - day old stuff sold off cheap. A big bag of flapjack slivers, for 45p...

Blimey, it's all kicking off in P and L. I need a tea to calm me down. And I have another web story to write up...

 Same here! I reckon about 90% of today's posts could go straight to the bin, do not pass go, do not collect £200... I really do wonder what satisfaction people get out of being so bloddy-minded and belligerent all the time....
